GO for Uttarakhand Guest Teachers Recruitment
- Guests teacher will be selected at the posts of vacant Assitant Teachers LT and Lecturer posts.
- The guest faculty posts are purely on contractual basis and will be dismissed right after permanent teacher recruitment or filling up of seat with transfer.
- The visiting faculty will be selected on block level by a screening committee headed by DM and members are Chief Education Officer, District Education Officer, Principle of DIET, and a SC/ST member.
- Education qualification for the recruitment of guest teachers remain same as for regular teachers.
- A pool of applying candidates will be created at Block level which have to be twice of the number of vacancies in the block.
- Registration in employment office in Uttarakhand is mandatory.
- The application will be accepted through registered post only in every block.
- Screening committee will prepare the merit chart as per applications recieved.

A. Assistant Teacher LT
- High School – (Percentage/10) X 1/2
- Intermediate – (Percentage/10) X 1/2
- Graduation - (Percentage/10) X 4
- TET 2 – (Percentage/10) X 4

B. Lecturer

9. After preparation of merit, candiates will be posted to schools where vacant seats are found, starting from Durgam to Sugam.
10. Stipend of Rs 125/- for LT and Rs 150/- for Lecturer per period will be given which atmost rise to Rs 15000/- per month.
11. 15 days leaves in a year are allowed for guests teachers
